The big mission behind Fearless

"As is our confidence, so is our capacity."
- William Hazlitt

We all know that communicating with confidence is critical to personal and professional success, but many people struggle to speak up and make themselves heard. Great ideas go unaired, top talent remains hidden and people who could have made great leaders fail to rise to the top.

We're on a mission to help people to tap into their potential by harnessing the power of confident communication. We've developed a unique approach to training and we're excited to be helping people from all walks of life find their voice.

Our founder's story

Hi, I'm Carrie, the founder of Fearless.

Our mission is close to my heart because I used to struggle with a fear of public speaking when I was working as a Director in my old corporate job. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to speak up and be heard at the crucial moment - and how much it can hold you back if you don't. That's why I made it my mission to build a company dedicated to helping people reach their potential through speaking up.

We are proud to have worked with individuals from all walks of life, from business leaders in FTSE 100 companies, to entrepreneurs pitching on Dragon's Den, to students in schools.

Whether you are looking to develop your presentation skills, book training for a team of staff members or simply build your confidence, we'd love to help you.

Our Philosophy

The philosophy that underpins the Fearless Methodology™ is based on our core beliefs around what makes training transformational.

Courage liberates us

Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction. We encourage people to lean into fear to take brave steps forward that lead to breakthroughs.

Practice, practice, practice

Confident communication is a skill, not a talent. Through live practice, rehearsal and mindset work, we help people develop new skills that transform their personal impact.

Context is key

It’s critical that we understand the social dynamics at play within your organisation, which is why we match you with a coach who knows your industry and the challenges you’re up against.

Bespoke is best

One size does not fit all, so our training programmes are bespoke, flexible and tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Our company history

It's been quite the journey, but we are so excited to be helping people all over the world find confidence in speaking up.

We changed our name to Fearless

Now with over 40 courses teaching people on how to communicate with confidence, we outgrew the name Love Public Speaking and rebranded as Fearless to reflect our broader offering of training in confident communication. We figured, if Beyonce can be Sasha Fierce, why can't we be Fearless?

Our Founder got listed as a rising star in British business

We started working internationally and Carrie was named by Management Today’s Women in Business Awards as one of this year’s “35 Women Under 35” celebrating Britain’s brightest young business leaders. Talk about perfect timing, because 2 months later she turned 36 and "34 Women under 35 plus 1 under 36" doesn't have quite the same ring to it...

We built a team and expanded

Word spread and before we knew it, we were oversubscribed! Carrie was burning the midnight oil like a candle in a storm, and it was clear that she couldn't do it all alone, so she started building a team of trainers to help deliver the courses she'd developed.

We launched our first course for businesses

Carrie's down-to-earth approach to teaching presentation skills really resonated with her workshop guests and before she knew it, businesses were lining up to book her to deliver training to their teams of staff who were struggling to speak up at work.

Business founded

Carrie took a leap of faith and launched a small business where she ran public speaking workshops upstairs in pubs. Where better to overcome your fear of public speaking than in a room full of strangers, with a glass of wine in your hand? She aimed her workshops at people who, like her, hated public speaking, and fittingly called the business 'Love Public Speaking'.
